Birdwatcher is a game for kids in the age of 3-8, where they can learn about the Danish birds through a fun and engaging game.

In the game you can attract different types of birds to your city by building houses, restaurants and airports for the birds that love to travel far away. All the buildings and houses in the game are exaggerated and imaginative, and play on the childish fantasy of what is inside a birdhouse that makes it so attractive that our birds want to live there.

The whole world is playful and players can interact with almost everything to bring the world to life. The kids can also explore the city, follow the birds to a concert or watch as they slide down the waterslide into the pool!

When a new birds moves into the city you get a badge for your bird collection book. The game teaches the kids about what the different birds sound like, how they look and what they like.

The game was part of a nationwide campaign by the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) that focused on helping and saving Danish birds. The aim of the campaign was to create awareness for families to take better care of the nature and also inspiring kids and parents to build and decorate their own birdhouses.
